Yula Kleom, an artist, director and imagemaker
Yula Kleom was born in Dniepropetrovsk/Ukraine (1978), graduated there "Industry design" faculty of Arts College and "Design and illustration" from the National Acadamy of Art and Print by Fedorov/Lviv, Ukraine.
In 1999 won grand prix at Ukrainian Visage Championship, in 2000 – silver prize in International Style Championship "Mondial Coiffure Beauty"/Paris.
Film director:
- 2005 "No expectations" (documentary/video)
- 2006 together with Yulia Pelipas "Na den ka" (documentary/video). "Molodist" festival together with "Nokia"/Ukraine
- 2007 "/?/" (documentary/35mm). Short film festival in Drama/Greece
- 2007 "Give me a kiss" (documentary). "Djuice Mobile Film Fest" supervised by the Ukrainian distribution company Arthouse Traffic LLC.
Art-director of performanses for "Samsung", "L'Oreal", "Martini", "Hello sky" (documentary/video) for "Nokia", etc.
The member of the Festival of illustrates "Institute of smile", "Let's love to couture", "The illustrates of the glossy life" at exhibition project "Velikolepno!". Russia, 2005-2007.
"Make-up department" at Russia and Paris Fashion Weeks, "S&A laboratory" branding and "Make-up school" together with "S&A Group"/Ukraine. "Mamay", "The Knot of Fate"/Ukraine, "Vtoroy Front"/Russia pictures.
Costume designer for "Business Cluss"/Portugal, "Happy people"/Ukraine, "Besporno"/Russia pictures. TV programs and music videos, Social and promo events, etc.
Photo-illustrates for magazines "Men's Health", "Viva", "Max", etc. Editor and style for "L'Officiel"/Ukraine, 2004-2005. The member of the World Bienalle of illustrators in Moskow 2006-2007.
Now she gives the lectures at "LG Studio Life's Good" project, also she is a student of British Academy of Art and Creative Aura-Soma.
Yula Kleom is one of the curators of art-relax.com project.
This project is a tribute to ideas of creativity and meditation. It started this Summer and aims to educational media-product of visual art, combines the experience of contemporary art creators, the world-wide experience of meditation practise, future science and technology of art-relax laboratory.
